Temporary Closure

We are temporarily closed to organize our move to Plateforme 10, the new arts district of Lausanne. On November 6 and 7, the discovery weekend of the new building of Photo Elysée and mudac will take place. The inauguration of the exhibition spaces is planned for June 2022. Until then, follow the museum's news on L'Elysée hors champ and on our social networks!

Discovery weekend of the Musée de l'Elysée and mudac's new building

On November 4, 2021, the Musée de l'Elysée and the mudac will receive the keys to their new building at Plateforme 10 during an official ceremony. This historic moment will be followed by a discovery weekend during which the public will be able to explore the finished building. On this occasion, we have given carte blanche to Christian Marclay, who will present an installation called "Unpacking".

Inauguration of Photo Elysée and mudac at Plateforme 10

The official inauguration of Photo Elysée and mudac will take place on June 15, 2022. The building will open its doors to the public on June 18 with a joint exhibition of the three museums of Plateforme 10 on the theme of the railway.
